Habitat Homes

Habitat for Humanity (Edmonton/Edson Project) is currently accepting applications for 7 Habitat Homes (phase one of a 15 unit build) to be built in Edson starting this summer. Habitat for Humanity is offering mortgages at 0% interest, no cash down payment, and amortized so that the payment will never be more that 25% of the total family income.
The following is the basic criteria to qualify for a Habitat Home in Edson:
-annual gross income between $32,000 & $54,000;
- at least one child living at home under 18 years old;
- currently live or work in Edson or area;
-current housing is substandard or rent too high.
You must be willing to work a minimum number of hours on our build site or other community service as well.
